Dear Community Member,

Through our annual Community Benefit grants and sponsorships, Ì첩ÌåÓýcare District and Ì첩ÌåÓý collaborate with schools, nonprofit organizations and other local healthcare providers to address disparities and create better health outcomes for our region.

Our combined community investment supports access to primary and preventive care, chronic disease management, behavioral health services, and wellness programs that promote healthy living. In this Fiscal Year 2024 Community Benefit Report, you will learn how we are making progress on five identified community health needs.

Community Benefit from July 2023 to June 2024 resulted in a total impact of serving more than 107,500 people worth $127.6 million. Specifically:

• Ì첩ÌåÓý Total Community Benefit: $120.1 million, serving more than 60,000 people; this includes $3.3 million for 69 grants and sponsorships and charity care as well as unreimbursed Medi-Cal costs for more than 16,700 people.
• Ì첩ÌåÓýcare District Total Community Benefit: $7.5 million in 71 grants and sponsorships serving more than 47,400 people.

From increasing access to physical, mental and oral care, to mitigating risk factors for chronic diseases with prevention and healthy living, the Community Benefit programs are a strategic approach to investing in the long-term health of our community. We have distributed more than $100 million in community benefit through our grants and sponsorships during the past decade to improve health equity, enable healthier individuals and families and increase economic stability. Ì첩ÌåÓýcare District and Ì첩ÌåÓý remain committed to this impactful work and to building a healthier community for all.
